We rely on the expertise of our curators, our resale partners and historical sales demand for similar items to determine the sellability of each item.
All items are taken on a case by case basis. These are our general guidelines.
Items that fall under Consignment 1 consist of items that are in great condition;
- Furniture made of solid, real wood with 1 or 2 small blemishes or discrepancies
- Electronics/appliances manufactured within the past 12-18 months with all parts/pieces
- Items with a projected value greater than $??????
Items that fall under Lot Sale consist of items that are in less than great condition;
- Furniture made of solid, real wood with a few more blemishes or discrepancies
- Furniture made of particle board or high density composite wood that’s in perfect condition and sturdy
- Electronics/appliances manufactured within the past 3 years with all parts/pieces
Items that are donated consist of items that have little to no resale value;
- Furniture made of solid, real wood that’s slightly more worn with large, visible marks or discrepancies
- Furniture made of particle board or high density composite wood that’s still in good condition but with small, visible blemishes or discrepancies
- Electronics/appliances in good working condition but visible blemishes or discrepancies
Items that are recycled or discarded are items with no resale value
- Furniture that’s too worn, soiled or broken to resale
- Scrap metal, wood, loose items, broken items and outdated electronics
